Mrs. Christine Ampeire is a results-driven Procurement Specialist with a strong background in both procurement and finance. Possessing over 10 years of experience in sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost optimization, complemented by a solid foundation in financial analysis and budget control. Proficient at aligning procurement strategies with organizational goals to achieve cost savings, mitigate risks, and ensure operational efficiency. She is able to work cross-functionally and lead procurement initiatives that deliver measurable value. 

Christine possesses a Masters in Business Administration (Finance), a Postgraduate Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from UMI. Christine’s academic and experience fields include Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Business Incubation Management (BIM), financial literacy, Research planning and coordination, agribusiness management. Christine believes in entrepreneurship and small business management to be able fit in the dynamic environment.  As away to keep ahead, she has attended numerous workshops, conferences, trainings to increase on her knowledge base. Christine has attended meetings with organisations AGRA, CARE, UTGA, FAO, UCA, ICRAF, Makerere University Innovation centre and believes this exposure has contributed to better a performance at AAIN.

More so, Christine has travelled outside Uganda for conferences in Nigeria, Kenya, Zambia and this has enhanced ability to be an excellent communicator, having a strategic mindset, and the ability to meet new people and relate. During the course of her work, she has developed Strong analytical and negotiation skills, stakeholder managements skills, contract negotiation & compliance.
