Alex is a visiting professor of business incubation, entrepreneurship and development management in several universities including American Heritage University of Southern California in USA, London College of Business Studies UK, Cape Coast University in Ghana, Sokoine University of Agriculture in Tanzania, Bishop Stuart University in Uganda and Uganda Management Institute in Uganda.

EDUCATION
Alex holds a PhD in Development Management, Master’s Degree in Development Studies and Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, among other relevant qualifications

WORK EXPERIENCE

Alex Ariho is a Professor and Global Consultant of Business Incubation, Entrepreneurship and Development Management with special interest and focus on jobs, employment and wealth creation business modeling. He has supported and contributed towards the development of Country and Regional Business Incubation Models, programmes, projects and incubation management initiatives for jobs and employment creation in Africa. Alex has worked as expert consultant and advisor with FAO, AfDB, World Bank, WFP, UNHCR, CFTC, USAID, FARA, EHCAI and AU -IBAR among others at country, regional and international level lead team expert.

He previously among others, worked with Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) as UniBRAIN Facility Coordinator responsible for Africa Technology Commercialization through business incubation working closely with over 296 Universities, Research Organization, governments, Incubators, Accelerators, African governments and Enterprise Support Organisations.

Alex is an award winner of Africa Future Green Leadership 2017 and a member of World Advisory Board for Business Incubators at UBI – Global representing Africa. He is the current Chairperson of Albertine Rift Research Think Tank and he is founding member of African Journal for Business Incubation and Acceleration (ABIA). He has over 25 years of experience in business incubation projects management, sustainable development programmes management and entrepreneurship driven programmes
