Bosco Gumisiriza is the Director, Partnerships, Compliance and Operations at the African Agribusiness Incubators Network (AAIN).  He has over 24 years of working experience. For the last 6 years, Bosco   has participated in Business Incubation Management (BIM) training in   enriching the participants in knowledge, skills and entrepreneurship. He has participated in organising National, Regional and Continental agribusiness incubation  conferences aimed at the enhancing the establishment and growth of sustainable business  Incubators, Accelerators and Enterprise Support Organisations. He has been part of ecosystem  mapping exercises for several projects and studies, and has been crucial in the development of national, regional, continental and global cooperation / partnership frameworks. 

He has extensive knowledge of Sales and Marketing, Business Operations, having worked at the Bata Shoe Company Uganda limited, a leading multinational retailer and distributor of footwear in  for over 16 years heading the distribution, Retail and Non–Retail Sales Divisions. He has immense  experience in managing branch operations, setting up business operations, planning and  expansion, sales management, team building, customer service, partnerships building and  negotiations.  

He has also previously worked with Excel Hort Consult Agribusiness Incubator as a Regional  Manager for Eastern Uganda, managing operations in 7 districts and championing The agribusiness  agenda in the region. In promoting the value chains of maize, beans, cassava, ground nuts and rice,  he and the team worked with the small holder farmers in ensuring improved livelihoods and  income security through the establishment of commercial farmer cooperatives, promotion of  farming as a business using the access to market model, creating linkages to access finance,  markets, inputs and capacity building. 

Bosco holds a Master in Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration, a Diploma in  Business Studies, and has attended several training courses.
