Strengthening African Agribusiness Support Systems for Improved Service Delivery and Impact

African Agribusiness Incubators Network (AAIN) and The African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) have mutually entered into a beneficial cooperation by signing a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) to complement, facilitate and strengthen collaboration between the two institutions to advance and foster agribusiness development in Africa. AAIN and ABCF will collaborate in implementing programs and projects that will, among others,

a)     Build institutional and human capacities to support agribusinesses in Africa

b)    Conduct training, communication, and knowledge dissemination activities to support agribusinesses in Africa

c)     Conduct research and advocacy to support agribusinesses for inclusive growth and development in Africa

d)    Build and strengthen capacity of organizations in Business Incubation Management and

e)      Engage and participate in the Annual Agribusiness Incubation Conference and Expo 2024

 Collaborating with like-minded partners intensifies our efforts to create opportunities in agribusiness for decent employment, wealth and food sovereignty in Africa.

The MoU that was signed by Prof. Alex Ariho the CEO of AAIN and Mr. Mamadou Biteye the Executive Secretary of ACBF on the 15th of February 2024 was a subsequent outcome of the initial partnership discussions held during the 9th Africa Think Tank Summit held on the 8th – 10th November 2023 in Lusaka, Zambia.  Collaborating with like-minded partners intensifies our efforts to create opportunities in agribusiness for decent employment, wealth and food sovereignty in Africa. We look forward to fruitful cooperation and contribution towards agribusiness advancement in Africa.
