“No Paper, Pen Skilling” Approach

Have you heard of the “No Paper, Pen Skilling” approach? Here is The Daily Monitor Newspaper pull-out an interview with Prof. Alex Ariho on this approach’s uniqueness in addressing the unemployment surge among the youth and its capability to generate local employment, decent work and wealth creation. In his interview, he underscored the need for youths, especially the graduates, to embrace skilling in addition to the traditional diplomas and degrees to better position themselves for the opportunities and work demands of the 21st century.

It is a mode of skilling where trainees get practical skills without a pen or paper (writing pads). The exchange between learners (trainees) and instructors occurs in a practical environment, and there is no writing.

By integrating technical skills with academic knowledge, graduates can not only enhance their employability but also drive innovation and growth in their respective fields, thus creating employment opportunities for their fellow youth.
